Current user

This shows you the name of the current user registered on Government Gateway. To see your full address and any 'CTS location links' and temporary holdings you're using, click on the underlined holding above.

If you have more than one CPH registered under the same Government Gateway log in you will be able to switch between these holdings without logging out of CTS Online.

To switch to another CPH, click on the box to the right of the CPH number and you will see a list of CPHs registered under the same Government Gateway log in. Click on the one you wish to change to, then click the ‘Switch CPH’ button.

Cattle on Holding

This section shows the total number of cattle on your holding.

To list all registered cattle on your holding, click on the underlined number under the Total heading on the Total row.

The total is broken down by sex, to break it down further by breed, click on the ‘Show breeds’ button.

Recorded Events

Last six months

This section shows the total of all births, movements ON/OFF, deaths and imports in the last six months for this holding.

By clicking on the underlined number you will see a screen with details of the animals in each of the headed sections. For example, to see a list of all animals that have moved off your holding, click on the number under the Moves OFF heading. This will include OFF movements you have reported in other ways.

Submitted but not yet processed

This section shows any births, movements ON/OFF, deaths of registered and death of unregistered animals sent using CTS Online or the CTS Self Service Helpline since the last update to CTS.

By clicking on the underlined number you will be taken to a screen that displays the details of the animals in each of the headed sections. For example, to see a list of animals you have told us moved OFF your holding since your last transactions were picked up by CTS, click on the number under the Moves OFF heading.

These transactions will not be included in the totals for cattle on your holding.

Problem status

The Problem Status box shows any problems with information you have sent BCMS for movements or cattle applications on your holding.

The Problem Status box works like a traffic light system.

A Red light means there are problems and BCMS need information from you to fix them.

An Amber light means you have provided BCMS with some information via CTS Online and we need to update your cattle records.

A Green light means BCMS can’t see any problems.

To enter the next page displaying the problems and information provided for this holding click on the ‘click here to see problems and information provided’ link. If you have a green traffic light you will not have the option to click on this link.
